We go down to Yarram, Latrobe Valley, Carrajung for Christmas every year. The heat of summer in the hills is so hot that sometimes we have lemonade or blue spider. We cuddle up near the air conditioner and then we freeze then go outside and play. Then we have a Christmas lunch with my baby cousins, uncles, aunts, parents, grandma and sister.
After that all of us drive down to McLoughlin’s to walk to the ninety-mile beach. All of us go down to McLoughlin’s beach it’s nice we walk down the ninety-mile beach and walk back sometimes even go to the Tarra Bulga national park and we have nice lunch, I always get full after the first serve. When it gets hot, we have a nice lemonade lemon with a spider, it’s delicious. I have a great time, sometimes we go for an ice cream.
We drive to Foster, in Gippsland. Everyone goes to opportunity shop and checks it out. But if we get hungry, we go eat a something from the bakery and go down to the river and eat and be peaceful. No electronics involved. Eating our lunch peacefully and calmly.
After we drive on to Walhalla. All of us check out the caves and have a Toblerone, a piece each. The caves in Walhalla are cool because you see iron and a lot of gold. After we drive up to Mount Baw Baw.
We drive back home. On the Eastern freeway we pass Erica, Moe, Trafalgar Darnum Warragal, Drouin, Pakenham, Officer, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Dandenong, and then the Mullum Mullum tunnel, Doncaster, Chadstone, Hoddle Street and then North Fitzroy. I, my mother, my dad and my sister are home back on Barkly Street. Afterwards we unpack and go to sleep. After that I go down and play soccer.
