Merri Creek Primary School – My Passion: Western Bulldogs (Isaiah)

WESTERN BULLDOGS

by Isaiah

I’ve been going for the Bulldogs since 2014. The best game I have ever saw was Bulldogs v GWS in the finals. It was on my birthday, Saturday, September 24th.

It was the preliminary final and they scored with five minutes to go. Then they got a point and won [83- 89]. So the Bulldogs were into the grand final for the first time in 63 years. They beat the Swans and won the premiership cup.

My favorite player is Marcus Bontempelli. Once he went to my cousin’s school and I got a few signed caps from him. He is the youngest ever captain at twenty years old.

I just randomly picked the Bulldogs because I like the colours and I have a French bulldog called Ralph.

  1. Thanks for this interesting piece Isaiah. You picked a good team. They were very exciting in 2016. We all loved them. I like the reason you picked them too.

  2. You’re lucky you got a few signed caps and you were probably very excited when the bulldogs got into the grand final!
